Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your data when you use howtofeedmypet.com. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, there are no accounts, and we don't run our own server that stores what you type in.

The calculators themselves

Your pet's weight, body condition, activity level, and every other calculator input are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to us or stored on any server we operate. If you upload a photo of your pet to personalize a share card, that photo is also read and drawn entirely in your browser — it is never uploaded anywhere. Closing the tab or refreshing clears all of it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — for example, which pages are visited and roughly where from. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages viewed. We don't use this to identify individual visitors. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

This site may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site may be affiliate links (see the Affiliate Disclosure). Clicking one may set a cookie on the destination site (for example, Amazon) so that a purchase can be attributed to this site — that cookie is set and controlled by the destination site, not by us.

Browser storage

This site may use your browser's local storage to remember small preferences (like a previously entered value) so you don't have to re-enter them. This data stays on your device and isn't sent to us.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
